My role: UX/UI Designer

WebMD

WebMD is best known as a health information service website. WebMD publishes content regarding health and Healthcare topics, including a symptom checklist, pharmacy information, drug information, and blogs of physicians with specific topics.

Background

Chronic pain and improving movement may be as simple as finding suitable foot support. “Even just a few millimeters in your alignment can make a difference, over the course of 5,000 steps per day per foot, 20,000 steps per week, one million steps per year,” said Dr. Charlton. “If your body is like a car, and your feet and legs are your tires and suspension,” said Dr. Charlton, “when something is wrong with your tires, your car won’t drive as well as it should.”

What we did
The best way to find insoles that meet your needs is to get an understanding of what’s going on with your feet. The Dr. Scholl’s® Custom Fit® Kiosk uses innovative FootMapping® technology to measure your feet and recommend a Dr. Scholl’s best Custom Fit® Orthotics that’s right for you. Sensors identify pressure points on the foot to see where there might be overloading or certain areas of the foot over-compensating. Inspired by traditional Dr. Scholl’s® techniques and working closely with the medical expert team, we designed the newsletter to educate people with chronic pain problems about insoles.
